There is so much adventure out there and its so hard to have to stay home and work when the water is calling! A big problem is that we struggle to stay connected when we are off playing. I think we've finally found our solution!
We have been out on a day trip and then also a weekend trip with Skyroam and both have been SUCCESSFUL!!!
On our day sail I was able to hang out below deck and get some work done while he was up top solo sailing. The Solis Lite stayed connected with no hiccups the entire time. Our weekend adventure was great because we could grab a mooring ball and feel comfortable roaming the island for awhile knowing that I could do some work later that afternoon when we were done playing.
Blake Island is a 476 acre state park about 8 miles from downtown Seattle. The island has five miles of beach shoreline and some amazing views of the Olympic Mountains .
This island is only accessable by boat and has multiple hiking trails throughout the island. There are raccoons that feast at the waters edge and deer roaming the island in search of that perfect patch of grass to snack on.
During non Covid restrictions there is a Northwest Native American experience that is well worth the adventure. You enter into the history and culture and enjoy a traditionally prepared fire-roasted salmon meal. More on this at another time!
I'm super excited that the Skyroam has worked so well for us so far. We plan on heading out again this weekend and adventuring south to see how it works in another area.
If you're interested in Skyroam - let us know - we've got a discount code that works for rentals or purchase options!
